Fundació Eurecat

Eurecat is the major Technology Centre of Catalonia and the result of the integration, since May 1st 2015, of the most important Catalan technology centers: Ascamm, Barcelona Media, BDigital, Cetemmsa and CTM. It includes more than 450 experienced professionals, generating an annual income of €38M and participating in over 100 national and international innovation projects. Eurecat has 36 international patents and 7 technology-based spin offs. It provides industry with differential technology and advanced expertise, offering innovative solutions to their needs and boosting competitiveness in a fast-paced environment.

One of the 4 sites is located in Mataró, former CETEMMSA, is a centre specialized in smart materials, smart devices and printed electronics with the aim of transferring knowledge to companies. Its staff forms a permanent expert team of more than eighty professionals, distributed in a multidisciplinary scientific range of expertise: Chemistry, Electronics, Telecommunications, Physics, and Industrial Engineering. Its premises include laboratories where main OLAE technologies (EL, OLED, HyLED, Photovoltaics...) based on Printed Electronics are provided. Eurecat has a strong expertise in material formulation for coating and Printing techniques, Integration and deposition techniques as PVD, Printing (screen printing, inkjet), coating (bar coating, spin coating, knife coating, slot die coating), roll-to-roll-processing and lamination and surface treatments.

Eurecat is an active member of the OE-A (Organic Electronic Association).
